Last Thursday The Daily Telegraph published an article about Amateur Transplants and Sheila's Wheels.

A few weeks earlier, we were written about in Dazed & Confused magazine.

I've been interviewed by Eastern Eye newspaper ("The voice of British Asians" apparently).

The boss of the big company that my friend works for has "London Underground" as his ringtone.

We've been played on Kerrang FM, Kiss FM, BBC Radio five live & Radio Jackie, as well as regularly being the last song of the night at Walkabouts across the country.

Which makes me wonder - who exactly is our target audience?

As long as it pisses off Daily Mail readers, you can't go far wrong!! Good to chat last night - speak soon.

I heard you on Radio Jackie, you've really hit the big time. You were between the ad for Supaflors on Amen Corner and the appeal for the lost Jack Russell in Ewell.

Was it me that told you of your Radio Jackie fame? I'm sure I mentioned it. If it wasn't me, and I forgot to tell you, then I'm very sorry and just to let you know- A few weeks ago, I hard "Sheila" played on Radio Jackie. There, my job here in done.

Don't forget that hundreds of people your darling brother has met have reported hearings of teenage girl ringtones in Essex, white van men in Nottingham, British middle-aged expats in Kenya, students in St. Petersburg, and several knuckle-dragging morons on tubes and trains. A global wave as popular as a syphilis epidemic.

You're target audience isn't here. It would be a very brave Londoner who would admit to liking imperial's comedy (although their stripper at the last UH was entertaining).

Having said that we did enjoy you at Edinburgh last year, even if you did miss out the Barts line the second night we came to see you.

Not just the British - I introduced your work to an Anglophile friend of mine in the states and she will happily have your babies, or just casual sex if you'd rather.

Also, the Sheila's Wheels song is spreading round work via the ol' bluetooth, it's quite a hit!

Blimey - lots of "comments"...

I know we're big in the UK but I haven't yet heard of anywhere else in the world where it's been on the radio, etc. Anyone?

And no Nikki, you didn't tell me about being played on Radio Jackie, the DJ himself contacted me!

I do love the fact that people continually go up to my brother and say "You'd probably like this" and tell him about my stuff. It's good to know that I can piss him off without even being in the same town!

Renal: Let me get this straight - you paid to see us in London at the UH Comedy Revue, you saw us again in Edinburgh the one night I forgot I'd altered the Barts' line in Careless Surgeon, you came back & saw us AGAIN that week... and still you slag us off?? What gives...?

And Zofrex, I'll be sure to let you know if I'm going to be visiting the States... ;)

What can I say Suman, even though the two of you superstars didn't buy us poor students a drink when we dragged you to the Pleasance Dome (after I bought you some girly drink) I still have quite like your stuff! :P

The second time we came to see you, we'd had a couple of mates come up and we thought we would take them to you.

I didn't see you at UH, was slightly before my time, and anyway, I work UH, I don't pay!

And still, no BL medic is going to admit to liking Gimperial! ;-)
