From The Times' obituary comments: "Being Canadian, I had no idea who Jeremy Beadle was, but, reading the obituary, I find him to have been a courageous man who had to put up with far more cruelty than he perhaps deserved. To the columnists who were cruel to him, all I can say is: what goes around, comes around." Fine words. I mean probably not appropriate for the obituary of a man who played a million practical jokes but still...
We need more properly funny practical jokers. THey were showing some of his old clips from Beadle's about... taking the cat to the vet... a lion on a lead... genius!
I hope they re-run some of his old stuff. Good on him for raising all that charity money too
They're all friendly and complimentary to him now, talking about his generosity and charity work and suchlike. Yet when he was alive then he just got laughed at. Two fingers up to the lot of them.

Awww, don't be so mean.
He was 'armless...
Let's give him a big hand
You'd better watch out Suman, 'cos Beadle's spirit might be about!
